Head of Money Market and Fixed Income Asset Management
Wealth Management arm of leading global financial institution seeks highly experienced investment specialist to run the proprietary Money Market and Fixed Income investment centre across Europe.
Based in Madrid, the successful individual will be fully responsible for the management of money market and fixed income funds (euro zone).
This will involve:
- Creation, development and monitoring of the money market and fixed income models (euro) for each of the asset classes under its scope.
- New product development
- Development of new absolute or return strategies,
- Implementation of new tactics
- Selection of money market and fixed income securities to populate the model portfolios of investors (typically retail and private banking clients).
The Head of Money market and Fixed Income will also be entrusted of controlling operational, legal and regulatory risks.
The candidate should have proven international experience and track record in active asset management in money market and fixed income funds management (minimum 10 years of relevant experience), as well as a proven track record in managing international teams in different countries.
Excellent knowledge of English is essential, with any additional languages (ideally French and Spanish) being a plus.
