EES Product Management

My Client, a leading Brokerage house, is seeking an experienced Product Manager for its front office product team working closely with the electronic sales and trading desk. The Product Management team will have primary responsibility for supporting electronic global equities trading in London.

The role covers a variety of tasks including:
• Monitoring the electronic infrastructure and reporting both externally and internally any system outages.
• Investigation and resolution of client and broker issues incorporating:
• Control of lost orders
• Inconsistencies around client reporting
• Settlement issues
• Trading issues
• Connectivity issues
• Control and Transition of Client and Market Counterparty set up, liaising with various departments including Compliance, Risk and IT
• UAT testing FIX connection testing

Experience/Skills Required
• Strong background knowledge gained within International Equity back office or middle office
• Front office systems knowledge preferred – (Ullink and Fidessa)
• Experience with an electronic middle office preferred
• Good knowledge of International markets, including far east/emerging markets
• Strong reconciliation/analytical approach
• Excellent Excel knowledge
• Microsoft Access knowledge preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work within a pressurized environment
• Good problem solving skills
• Good analytical skills
• Good time management and prioritisation skills
